The Great Wolf Lodge is a mostly indoor waterpark where the only way to get admission is by staying at their hotel. This is done to prevent overcrowding and long lines. Whether you stay for one night or three, you can find a multitude of activities to keep you and your little ones happy.
Looking to visit the Great Wolf Lodge? Great! There are a number of things you can buy in advance to get the full experience without having to pay for them at their expensive souvenir shop.
Wolf Feet
Every kid gets wolf ears at check-in for free. They are a great no cost item that your child will love! During the pajama party at night, your kids will love having a set of wolf feet slippers to wear. If you buy them at the hotel, you will be paying about 30 dollars plus tax. Order a pair from Amazon for a lot less!
Lodge themed pajamas
There is a really fun PJ dance party and story time experience at night there. Great Wolf Lodge does sell their own line of pajamas, but your kids can wear whatever kind of pajamas they want. We packed a set of red flannel pajamas for our son, and he ended up getting a lot of compliments on them! The red flannel just fit the “theme” of the lodge so well.
Swim bag
Check in time is at 4pm, and sometimes you can get checked in earlier. In case you cannot, you are still allowed to start playing in the waterpark at 1pm. Go ahead and get a swim bag to take into the park to have on hand to keep your change of clothes and swimwear while waiting for your room. I recommend the Speedo Deluxe Mesh bag. It’s a great one to keep on hand!
